We're working towards the ultimate mix of resources that helps people grow beyond their wildest dreams.olve this for your business.
The tech world changes fast. There's a good chance that in 2 years time you'll be doing something that doesn't even exist right now, doesn't have a name, or is based on tools that are still in alpha. We understand this, and thus we have created roadmaps that will always be evolving to support this.
Disciplines: Think of a Discipline as a roadmap of sorts; once you conquer a level in a discipline, another one opens up for you to aim at.
Levels: We've crafted a bunch of Levels within the Disciplines for our teams to help individuals understand how and where they can grow.
Skills: Lots of Skills make up a Scrums.com Level. Skills and levels help you understand what is expected of you within that Discipline. They also help you see your blind spots! We all have them and that's normal.
One of the main reasons people choose to work at Scrums.com is growth and learning from smart, awesome people. Remember #Smile?
Mentors are here to help you level up your skills. Think of them as the masters of different skills within out disciplines at Scrums.com. We used to call them Gurus, bat that was confusing, though not entirely wrong... They know more than you, but want you to know more than them.
Our Leadership team is made up of Scrums.com most experienced team members. Our leaders drive our teams forward and are able to bring out the best abilities in their team members and motivate them to work together in achieving our shared goals. Their blood could be blue, though we haven't tested that.
People Managers have your back. They're there to offer guidance on some of the basics and help you perform at levels you didn't think you could. They're the unblockers, the connectors, the guard rails to your bowling alley... They'll help you hit your OKR's and become a better person.
We have different Mentors for different areas of skills, and across different parts of the business. Even our CEO has a mentor.
Our mentors offer their mentees advice, support, and encouragement on an ad-hoc basis- this can be day to day problem solving or during a quarterly check in.
We believe in checking in. These sessions help guide people on how they can succeed and how to grow into to the next level of their career at Scrums.com.
Our mentors support people through frequent touch-points over every quarter and help you get the feedback you need to get stronger. 1% better every day - we believe in it.
While we do our best to ensure support at Scrums.com, we believe your ultimate success is entirely up to you. What is growth? Well we think it's simple:
Nailing your OKR's (Objectives & Key Results)
