The Transaction Ledger Implementation sprint replaces that with a proper ledger: immutable entries, double-entry accounts where warranted, and balances that are always the sum of their movements.

The finish state is a production ledger serving your application — every credit, debit, fee, and adjustment recorded as an entry, balances derived and cached rather than overwritten, and an audit trail that answers how any account reached its current state. Existing balance data is migrated with a verified backfill, not abandoned.
