Overview
Serverless removes servers, not operational responsibility. This package migrates a defined application or workload to event-driven, serverless services, functions, managed queues, event buses, and serverless containers, with the production controls that make it operable: observability, retries, dead-letter handling, and cost visibility. The finish state is the workload running serverless in production, cheaper to idle and easier to scale.
The sprint maps the workload to the right serverless services on your cloud, such as Lambda, Azure Functions, or Cloud Run, refactors what needs refactoring, and wires in the failure handling that event-driven systems demand. Cutover is staged, and cost and scale behaviour are validated against real traffic patterns.

Is every workload a fit for serverless?
No. Long-running, stateful, or latency-critical components may belong elsewhere, and scoping says so per component. Partial migrations, serverless where it fits, containers where it does not, are a normal outcome.
What about cold starts and runaway costs?
Both are addressed by design: concurrency settings, provisioned capacity where justified, and budget alerts from day one. Cost validation against measured traffic is part of acceptance.
