Overview

The ERP Integration Package connects an application to your ERP — SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Sage, Odoo, or equivalent — for a defined set of flows: product and customer master data, orders, inventory levels, invoices, or fulfillment status. The finish state is those flows running in production on schedule or on event, with validation at the boundary, reconciliation reports that prove the two systems agree, and alerts when they do not.

Connecting products to legacy ERP systems is one of the harder integration disciplines Scrums.com practices, because ERPs punish sloppiness: strict schemas, batch windows, and finance data where wrong is worse than late. The package treats the ERP as the system of record it is — the integration adapts to the ERP, never the other way around.

What do we need from our ERP team?

A test environment, credentials for the sanctioned interface, and a named ERP owner for mapping sign-off. The scope step cannot complete without them — that is deliberate.

Our ERP is heavily customized. Does the package still fit?

Yes — customization is the normal case. The data contract is written against your ERP as it actually is, which is exactly why the mapping step is done with your ERP owner in the room.

What if data must flow both ways with conflict handling?
