Amazon's Nova foundation model family covers text, multimodal understanding and creative generation, offered through Amazon Bedrock.
How this operator works
every way of working, already decidedOwns the system, not the ticket
Takes end-to-end ownership of a service or surface. Design, delivery, on-call. And is measured on outcomes, not hours.
Embedded, async-first, instrumented
Works inside your repos, your CI and your rituals. Daily written standups, decisions logged. No status-meeting tax.
Runbooks, canaries, reversible deploys
Every change gated and reversible. Incidents get a timeline and a postmortem; nothing ships without a rollback.
Plugged into your Slack & rituals
Joins standups and retros, reports weekly against the goal. You get an operator, not a queue.
Brings a pre-wired stack or adopts yours
Infrastructure and observability as code by default. No bespoke setup tax to absorb.
Scoped, gated, reversible
Week-1 shadow, week-2 ownership, swap on request inside the trial window. No long-tail handover risk.
Overview
Nova is Amazon's own foundation model family, offered through the Amazon Bedrock service on AWS. The family spans text models at different cost and latency points, multimodal models that understand images, video and documents, and creative models for image and video generation.
Through Scrums.com, delivery teams integrate Nova models into your products and agent stack on AWS. They wire Bedrock into your pipelines with evals and guardrails, and track usage, cost and outcomes on the SEOP.
What it does
Text understanding and generation
Nova text models handle drafting, summarization, extraction and conversational workloads at a range of cost and latency points.
Multimodal understanding
Multimodal Nova models read images, video and documents alongside text, for tasks such as media analysis and document processing.
Image and video generation
Creative Nova models generate images and short video from text prompts for content and marketing workflows.
Speech-enabled interaction
Speech-capable models in the family support voice-driven applications and assistants.

Commercial availability

FAQs
Are Nova models open weights or hosted API?
Hosted only. Nova models are available exclusively through Amazon Bedrock; Amazon does not publish Nova weights.
What does a deployment need?
An AWS account with Amazon Bedrock enabled in a supported region, model access granted for the Nova family, and IAM roles for the services that call it.
Where does my data flow?
Requests run inside your own AWS account boundary under Bedrock's data-protection commitments. Scrums.com configures the account, regions and logging with you, with operation reported via the SEOP.
