Temp Mail API enables developers and QA testing teams to automate the testing of their email workflows, such as sign-ups and password resets, using an unlimited number of disposable inboxes.

Whether you perform manual testing, use an API, or employ frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Puppeteer, Temp Mail API helps complete the email testing loop.

The Temp Mail API is also suitable for creating your own temporary disposable email application or website.

How it works:

• Generate any email address using our domain names.
• Sign up on websites that require email confirmation.
• The website sends an email to the specified address.
• The message is received by our SMTP server, processed, and added to the database.
• You can make a request to the API using the login and domain part of the email address to retrieve a list of emails.
• Request the API with the message ID to get a JSON-formatted message with the body, subject, date, attachments, etc.
• Alternatively, retrieve the raw message as it arrived in base64 encoding.

Please note

You can create any email address using our domain names without notifying the API - simply use the format username@our_domains and use it anywhere. Our servers receive all incoming messages; you just need to call them correctly. All incoming email messages are automatically removed from our services within 1-2 hours for security reasons.

‍Note that for security reasons, you cannot receive messages from government services, major financial institutions, or read messages from reserved addresses on our domains, such as abuse@, webmaster@, contact@, postmaster@, hostmaster@, admin@, etc. All other addresses are available for use.
