How this operator works

every way of working, already decided
A · capability focus

Owns the system, not the ticket

Takes end-to-end ownership of a service or surface. Design, delivery, on-call. And is measured on outcomes, not hours.

B · ways of working

Embedded, async-first, instrumented

Works inside your repos, your CI and your rituals. Daily written standups, decisions logged. No status-meeting tax.

C · reliability posture

Runbooks, canaries, reversible deploys

Every change gated and reversible. Incidents get a timeline and a postmortem; nothing ships without a rollback.

D · comms & cadence

Plugged into your Slack & rituals

Joins standups and retros, reports weekly against the goal. You get an operator, not a queue.

E · tooling

Brings a pre-wired stack or adopts yours

Infrastructure and observability as code by default. No bespoke setup tax to absorb.

F · onboarding

Scoped, gated, reversible

Week-1 shadow, week-2 ownership, swap on request inside the trial window. No long-tail handover risk.

Overview

Liquid AI builds foundation models on an alternative, efficiency-first architecture rather than the standard transformer. The models are designed to deliver useful capability within tight memory and power budgets, which makes them suited to edge hardware, vehicles, devices and other environments where cloud round-trips are not acceptable.

Through Scrums.com, delivery teams integrate Liquid's models into your products and agent stack - typically embedded in the product itself. They wire the models into your build with evals and guardrails, and track quality and outcomes on the SEOP.

·

What it does

Efficient on-device inference

The models run locally on phones, laptops and embedded hardware, keeping latency low and removing cloud dependency.

Compact multimodal variants

The family includes small text and vision-capable models for device-side understanding tasks.

Low-latency, low-memory serving

The architecture is designed for small memory footprints and fast response, within device power budgets.

Customization for embedded products

Models can be fine-tuned and packaged for a specific device or product line through Liquid's tooling and SDK.

·

Deploying it with Scrums.com

  1. Scope. Scrums.com assesses model fit for your use cases, together with your data, residency and compliance requirements.
  2. Integrate. Scrums.com engineers wire the provider's models into your products, pipelines and agents, with evals and guardrails.
  3. Operate. The deployment runs under governance, with usage, cost and quality reporting via the SEOP.
·

Commercial availability

Liquid AI licenses its models to enterprises for product and edge deployment, publishes some model weights openly under its own license, and provides an SDK for on-device integration. Licensing is contracted with Liquid AI; Scrums.com delivers the integration.

·

FAQs

Are Liquid's models open weights or hosted API?

Mainly licensed for deployment in your own products. Liquid publishes some model weights openly under its own license, and commercial edge deployment runs under an enterprise license with its SDK.

What does a deployment need?

A licensing agreement with Liquid AI, the target hardware profile for your product, and integration of the runtime or SDK into your application build.

Where does my data flow?

On-device deployment keeps inference data on the device itself - nothing needs to leave your product. Scrums.com designs the on-device data handling with you and reports rollout quality via the SEOP.
