The Role
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack .NET Engineer to join the Scrums.com talent network. You will build and maintain enterprise web applications using C# and the .NET ecosystem on the backend, paired with a modern JavaScript frontend. Most client engagements in this stack involve financial services, insurance, or enterprise software where reliability and performance are non-negotiable.
What You Will Work On
- Build and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework
- Develop frontend interfaces using Angular, React, or Blazor
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservice architectures
- Write and optimise SQL Server or PostgreSQL queries and manage database schemas
- Implement authentication, role-based access, and security patterns for enterprise clients
- Write unit and integration tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions)
What We Look For
- 5+ years of professional C#/.NET development experience
- Strong ASP.NET Core skills with hands-on API and backend development
- Frontend experience with Angular, React, or Blazor
- Solid SQL skills and experience with relational database design
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and DevOps tooling
- Experience working in enterprise environments where code quality, security, and compliance matter

This role is open to engineers based in or willing to relocate to the Johannesburg metro area. You will work remotely with international clients during UK or US business hours, with occasional in-person collaboration as needed.
