Forward deployed engineers bridge the gap between your product and your customer’s environment. They are client-facing, technically deep and domain-aware, and they carry AI deployment skills into the systems where your product has to run. Use them when the work is embedding a product or an AI capability inside a customer’s or a business unit’s environment rather than building in isolation. FDEs are vetted and deployed through the platform in 21 days, from five African regions: South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and Egypt. They are provisioned in three shapes: an FDE Deployment Squad, a Multi-Customer FDE Cell, or an FDE Center of Excellence.
