Overview

Managed delivery is an ongoing service line for engineering work that Scrums.com operates. You agree the responsibility boundary, priorities, capacity, reporting, and service level during scoping. Common uses include:
  • Product development
  • Managed QA
  • Software maintenance and support
  • DevOps and platform operations
  • Data and analytics delivery

Define the service line

Document:
  • Outcomes and service boundaries
  • Included capacity and prioritization rules
  • Response and escalation expectations
  • Environments and required access
  • Quality and security controls
  • Reporting and review cadence
  • Change and exit procedures
Managed delivery differs from a dedicated team because the service line is defined around an owned capability or outcome, not only a team shape.
