How this operator works

every way of working, already decided
A · capability focus

Owns the system, not the ticket

Takes end-to-end ownership of a service or surface. Design, delivery, on-call. And is measured on outcomes, not hours.

B · ways of working

Embedded, async-first, instrumented

Works inside your repos, your CI and your rituals. Daily written standups, decisions logged. No status-meeting tax.

C · reliability posture

Runbooks, canaries, reversible deploys

Every change gated and reversible. Incidents get a timeline and a postmortem; nothing ships without a rollback.

D · comms & cadence

Plugged into your Slack & rituals

Joins standups and retros, reports weekly against the goal. You get an operator, not a queue.

E · tooling

Brings a pre-wired stack or adopts yours

Infrastructure and observability as code by default. No bespoke setup tax to absorb.

F · onboarding

Scoped, gated, reversible

Week-1 shadow, week-2 ownership, swap on request inside the trial window. No long-tail handover risk.

Overview

Your product works in a browser, but your users live on their phones — and a responsive website in Safari is not an app on the home screen. The Web-to-Mobile App Conversion takes the workflows that matter on mobile and rebuilds them as a genuine mobile experience: store-distributed, push-capable, built for thumbs and interruptions rather than cursors and attention.

The finish state is your product in both app stores: the selected journeys working mobile-natively against your existing backend, push notifications reaching users the browser never could, and a foundation that grows into the full mobile product.

·

What's included

Journey Selection

Your web product's workflows triaged for mobile: which journeys users need on a phone, which stay web, and which change shape entirely on a small screen.

Mobile-Native Rebuild

The selected journeys rebuilt as a real mobile app — typically Flutter or React Native against your existing APIs — following platform conventions, not mimicking the website.

Offline & Push Basics

Sensible offline behaviour for the core journeys — cached data, queued actions — and push notifications wired to the events your users care about.

Store Distribution

Signing, store listings, review compliance, and submission to the App Store and Google Play, handled to live.

·

How it works

  1. Scope — Triage the journeys, audit your APIs for mobile consumption, and fix the platform and framework choice.
  2. Build — Rebuild the journeys mobile-natively in sprints, with test builds in your hands early and QA on real devices.
  3. Handover — Dual-store launch, full source handover, and the roadmap for the journeys that come next.

FAQs

Why not just wrap our website in a WebView?

Store review teams increasingly reject thin wrappers, and users uninstall them. The conversion rebuilds the journeys natively where it counts; a hybrid approach is used only where the evidence supports it — and we tell you which parts.

Do we have to convert the whole product?

No — that is the point of journey selection. Most conversions ship the two or three journeys mobile users actually need, then grow. The rest of the product stays web until it earns a mobile build.

Will our existing backend work?

Usually with modest changes: mobile-friendly auth (token refresh, biometric unlock), push infrastructure, and sometimes payload slimming. The API audit in scoping lists exactly what is needed. A Progressive Web App Build is the lighter alternative when store distribution is not essential.
