The finish state is an application receiving security updates again, on versions your team can hire for.

The upgrade is staged and test-protected: a characterization safety net is built or extended first, then runtime and framework moves such as Spring Boot upgrades land incrementally, with dependency remediation handled alongside. AI-assisted tooling accelerates the mechanical migration work, and the application stays releasable at every stage, no long-lived migration branch that never merges.
