This position offers an experienced Solution Architect the opportunity to define, design and govern the architecture and integration landscape for a next-generation mobile application, API and digital channel ecosystem. The role provides real technical leadership across delivery teams, vendors and governance forums, and the chance to shape a long-term roadmap for a fast-growing digital channel portfolio. Responsibilities

Define end-to-end solution architecture and integration patterns for the mobile application, digital channels and backend services.
Produce high-level and low-level designs for new initiatives and major enhancements.
Ensure architectural alignment with enterprise architecture standards and security frameworks.
Evaluate and recommend digital platform technologies, vendor solutions and architectural trade-offs.
Design API, middleware and event-driven integration patterns between digital platforms, core wallet systems and partner ecosystems.
Define and enforce security, scalability and resilience standards for all integrations.
Guide adoption of cloud-native and hybrid architecture patterns for digital channels.
Chair or contribute to architecture review boards for projects within the digital domain.
Participate in design review sessions, providing architectural guidance and sign-off for changes.
Guide development and integration teams on best practices, design patterns and non-functional requirements.
Support deployment planning and production readiness assessments for major releases.
Define and maintain the architecture roadmap for digital channels and their integration landscape.
Promote reusability, standardisation and reduction of technical debt across digital platforms.
Support innovation initiatives, proofs of concept and technology evaluations for emerging digital capabilities.

Experience and education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree advantageous.
8 to 12 years of experience in Software Engineering, Systems Integration or Solution/Enterprise Architecture.
Minimum of 5 years' experience within FinTech, Mobile Money, digital banking or mobile-first digital platforms.
Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale digital channel and integration programmes.
Experience working with cloud, mobile and API ecosystems at scale.
Track record of guiding multi-disciplinary delivery teams through complex technical decisions.
