Product Strategist and Business Analyst in Nairobi
About the role:
We are searching high and low for our next Product Strategist to join our world-class team.
What will you be doing?
- Evangelising new products within the company
- Building product roadmaps, particularly technology roadmaps
- Developing products on schedule, working on a critical path
- Advocating for good product habits
- Accountable for the highest standards of product execution
- Manage and ensure shared stakeholder alignment both internally with product teams and externally with clients
- Lead product solutions
- Defining product requirements
- Determining business case feasibility
- Formulate clear product vision, goals, objectives
- Delivering product solutions within the constraints of the product budget
- Scoping and defining features sets
- Managing a product team to design world-class products
- Testing products hypothesis
- Planning and iteration of features, flows and functions based on data gathered
- Gathering the voice of customers
- Understand the user and identify needs, mapping those needs to features
- Implementation of product metrics, define what needs to be tracked in collaboration with engineering teams
- Collaborating with engineering teams on the best 3rd party platforms from which to leverage functionality
- Managing a product design team's happiness and growth
Skills and Experience:
Product Advocacy and User Experience:
You need to be able to show experience with a variety of digital products at a very minimum
Facilitated and define a product’s vision, goals, objectives, and roadmap whilst building a shared understanding amongst all stakeholders (external and Scrums.com side)
Advocating for user needs and what is convenient for them.
Business Analysis:
Bridge the gap in understanding between the management of an organisation, and the complex data and technical systems businesses with the aim of improving processes and helping impact decision-making.
Leading the research, design, and implementation of any technology or processes that require a more substantial technical understanding within the group, including the development of functional specifications.
Data Analysis:
Analyse product data from implemented systems and turn it into information for teams.
Play the role of data scientist for the design teams, ensuring our data usage in apps is relevant to the end-users.
Talent Development:
