Responsibilities

Develop end-to-end features spanning both front-end and back-end systems
Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks
Design and implement scalable API services and back-end architecture
Write robust, well-tested code following best practice testing methodologies
Deploy, monitor, and manage services within cloud infrastructure environments
Work with containerisation tools and CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery
Participate actively in code reviews, refactoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate closely with engineers, tech leads, and stakeholders within Agile/Scrum teams
Optimise database performance and ensure scalability for high volume, high availability systems
Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction of the platform

Experience and education

6+ years of experience in a similar full-stack engineering role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Strong, demonstrable production experience across both front-end and back-end systems
Experience within fintech, payments, or other regulated environments is advantageous
Relevant industry certifications are advantageous
