Full-Stack .NET Software Engineer (Intermediate)

Join a small, high-trust team responsible for maintaining and enhancing business-critical warehouse and logistics management software used by a long-standing portfolio of customers. This is a hands-on, high-ownership position for a developer who takes pride in reliability, pragmatism, and seeing their work run in real-world environments every day. You will work across established systems, delivering meaningful improvements, resolving live issues, and engaging directly with customers, all while growing your skills across a broad technology stack. Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing software products across the full technology stack
  • Deliver change requests, including process improvements, integrations, and reporting, from initial assessment through to release
  • Work directly with customers to diagnose issues, scope work, and provide support for live systems
  • Integrate the platform with third-party systems, such as ERP software, carrier or export platforms, and Android RF devices
  • Work confidently within legacy codebases, reading, understanding, and safely extending systems that have been running for many years
  • Write and debug SQL queries against production data with care and respect for data integrity and audit trails
  • Collaborate within a small, close-knit team where every member owns delivery from start to finish

Experience and education

Essential:

  • Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
  • Solid experience writing and debugging SQL against relational databases
  • Working knowledge of HTML and front-end development fundamentals
  • Confident working within Windows operating system environments
  • Genuine willingness to work on and maintain legacy systems as a core part of the position
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with confidence engaging directly with customers

Desirable:

  • Experience with Visual Objects (VO27) or similar legacy xBase-family languages
  • Experience with Advantage Database Server (ADS)
  • Exposure to warehouse management, logistics, or ERP-adjacent software
  • Experience with ERP or carrier/export system integrations
  • Experience with Android RF devices or handheld terminals
