Responsible for identifying, analysing, qualifying, prioritising, and supporting the delivery of AI, Generative AI, Automation, and Digital Transformation initiatives across the Group. Serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and AI delivery teams, translating business challenges into clear requirements, measurable outcomes, and successful AI-enabled solutions. Requires strong business analysis capability combined with practical AI literacy, including understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and Responsible AI principles. Focused on business value realisation, ensuring AI investments solve real business problems, improve customer experiences, increase productivity, reduce costs, and support strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

AI Opportunity Discovery

Conduct AI opportunity discovery workshops with business stakeholders
Collaborate with business units to identify automation and AI use cases
Analyse current business processes and identify optimisation opportunities
Assist in creating AI business cases and value assessments
Maintain the AI opportunity pipeline and use-case backlog
Perform initial value, complexity, feasibility, risk, and dependency assessments

Requirements Engineering

Gather, analyse, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
Create BRDs, Business Specifications, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Process Maps, Use Cases, and Journey Maps
Translate business needs into actionable delivery requirements for AI and automation teams
Ensure requirements align with business outcomes, governance needs, and measurable KPIs

AI Product & Delivery Support

Support Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews
Work with AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Architects, Product Owners, and business stakeholders
Participate in solution design sessions to validate business fit and user experience
Coordinate UAT and support defect resolution
Support solution deployment, hypercare, and adoption activities

AI Literacy & Innovation Enablement

Develop working knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Conversational AI
Understand LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, vector search, knowledge bases, and prompt engineering at a practical level
Use Microsoft Copilot and related tools to improve productivity and support use-case discovery
Not expected to build AI models or write production code, but must understand practical business application

Value Realisation & Benefits Tracking

Define business KPIs for AI initiatives; establish baselines and targets
Track benefits post-implementation: productivity gains, cost reduction, CX improvement, revenue impact, adoption rates
Support reporting of AI initiative outcomes to leadership forums

AI Governance & Responsible AI

Ensure AI initiatives follow approved governance, risk, and compliance requirements
Support risk assessments, intake reviews, and approval processes
Identify privacy, security, regulatory, operational, and reputational risks
Document human oversight, escalation paths, and audit requirements
Promote responsible AI practices and safe usage of approved tools

Experience and education

Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, Business Management, or related field
5+ years Business Analysis experience
Experience delivering digital transformation initiatives within Agile delivery teams
Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
Experience developing BRDs, BRSs, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and test scenarios
Preferred certifications: ECBA, CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile Business Analysis certification
Preferred: Microsoft AI Fundamentals (AI-900), Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or Copilot fundamentals training
Advantageous: exposure to Responsible AI, Data Governance, Product Ownership, or Design Thinking training
Preferred: experience in AI, automation, analytics, digital platforms, fintech, telecommunications, or banking; exposure to Copilot, AI agents, GenAI use cases, Azure AI services, or Power Platform; experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Miro, Visio, or Power BI
