Permissions
ClickUp’s API requires broad read permissions to access these endpoints. We never read, transmit, or store task descriptions or attachments. Learn more in ClickUp’s API documentation.

Setup

Log in to Scrums.com
Go to Scrums.com and sign in to your account.

Navigate to Integrations
In your dashboard, click on your profile or account menu and select Integrations from the dropdown or sidebar.

Add ClickUp
Click Add Integration and select ClickUp from the list. Choose the project you want to link.

Authorise Scrums.com to access ClickUp
Enter your ClickUp API key (found in your personal ClickUp settings under My Settings > Apps). Click the green checkbox to save.

Verify the connection
Click Verify to confirm endpoints are correct.

Add your ClickUp Sprint Folder
Click Add to add your ClickUp sprint folder. Select the ClickUp workspace and add the relevant Folder ID for the project sprints. Click Verify to check the connection.

Data sync
Scrums.com will begin syncing your ClickUp data. Initial results appear within minutes, and the platform will continue to backfill historical data. Explore your analytics dashboards for real-time insights.
Best practices
- Use a long-term admin account — Set up the integration with an account that will remain active to avoid disruptions.
- API key security — Store your ClickUp API key securely. Do not share it publicly.
- Workspace selection — Only connect sprint folders relevant to your analytics needs.
