# Engineering Teams

> How Scrums.com's Dedicated Team model works — pre-vetted squads embedded into your delivery process.

## Overview

Dedicated Engineering Teams (DDT) are pre-assembled, fully managed squads deployed exclusively against your product roadmap. A Dedicated Team becomes a long-term extension of your engineering organisation — embedded in your tools, aligned to your sprint cadence, and governed through SEOP.

**Service Name:** Full Time Team Solutions<br />**Billing Model:** Subscription / Seat<br />**Delivery Model:** Scrums-managed / Client-managed

<Note>
  Projects are invoiced on the **1st of every month**. See [Billing & Usage](/docs/administration/billing) for full terms.
</Note>

## What Makes Dedicated Teams Different

Scrums.com's Dedicated Teams come with:

* **AI augmentation** — Engineers work within an AI-powered environment that accelerates productivity and reduces manual overhead
* **Delivery analytics** — Real-time performance data on your team's velocity, quality, and output
* **Orchestration tooling** — SEOP keeps sprints structured and delivery on track without requiring heavy client-side management
* **Replacement guarantee** — If a team member is not performing, Scrums.com will replace them at no cost

## Team Composition

Teams are built to match your specific needs. Common configurations include:

## How Deployment Works

1. **Scope definition** — You define your team requirements, tech stack, and delivery priorities
2. **Matching** — Scrums.com's AI-assisted system identifies the best-fit engineers from our vetted pool
3. **Proposal** — You receive a team composition proposal for review
4. **Kickoff** — Team deployment within 21 days of contract signing
5. **Integration** — The team joins your workspace, connects to your tools, and attends sprint ceremonies
6. **Ongoing delivery** — Sprints run within SEOP with full visibility into progress, quality, and output
