# Managed Delivery

> Give Scrums.com ongoing ownership of a defined engineering capability with agreed capacity, governance, and service levels.

## Overview

Managed delivery is an ongoing service line for engineering work that Scrums.com operates. You agree the responsibility boundary, priorities, capacity, reporting, and service level during scoping.

Common uses include:

* Product development
* Managed QA
* Software maintenance and support
* DevOps and platform operations
* Data and analytics delivery

## Define the service line

Document:

* Outcomes and service boundaries
* Included capacity and prioritization rules
* Response and escalation expectations
* Environments and required access
* Quality and security controls
* Reporting and review cadence
* Change and exit procedures

Managed delivery differs from a dedicated team because the service line is defined around an owned capability or outcome, not only a team shape.
