# Choose a Delivery Model

> Choose between a defined scope, managed delivery, an individual engineer, or a dedicated team.

## Start with ownership

Choose a delivery model based on the unit you need and who should own day-to-day delivery.

## Questions to answer

1. Can you define the output and acceptance criteria?
2. Do you want to manage the work or the outcome?
3. Is the need bounded or ongoing?
4. Do you need one skill or a complete delivery unit?
5. Which systems, environments, and approvals are required?

You can combine models across separate service lines. Keep ownership and acceptance criteria explicit for each deployment.
